What Is The Kids Club?
The kids Club at Vakani Orthodontics is an exclusive club for kids who need to see Dr. Vakani for check-ups to help monitor the growth and development of the teeth and jaws and to identify when they will need braces. Early discovery can lead to easier and simplified treatment in the future.
How Do I Join?
If your child visits with Dr. Vakani every 6 months to a year for a check-up to see how their teeth and jaws are growing, they become instant members of the Kids Club at Vakani Orthodontics!
How to Spot Teeth Problems in Young Children
The appearance of a baby’s first tooth can occur anywhere between three and sixteen months. At the age of six or seven, permanent teeth begin erupting. Because an early evaluation can determine if any problems are present, children should have their first orthodontic visit between the ages of six and seven. The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) recommends children visit an orthodontist by the age of 7.
